    I'm not suggesting the board pay silly money, but a caretaker role with an option for him to talk to other interested clubs could serve both parties well.

    As silly as the suggestion may seem to you, many Berwick supporters have very good memories of Jim Jefferies.

    Even if it was just until the end of the current season, it would send out a very positive signal.

    He's in a much better position now that John Robertson has left the club.

    So much for having the two supporters organisations represented in the boardroom.
    We may be better off financially but the board is as distant as ever from the real supporters.

    Had Wilson still been in charge then the dissent from the ducket would have been ten times the level it is now.

    It's Crease's side now. Nobody to blame but the manager and the board who let him carry on dragging the club to down to the bottom of the league.

    I cannot see a way out of this whilst the present manager and chairman remain in their positions.

    The long term future of the club is at stake here.
