OFFICIAL HEARTS JUGGERNAUT THREAD 2020-

I think we'd need £20-30 million to add 5000 seats onto the wheatfield stand due to land ownership and ethanol tanks at the distillery. The club should be investigating it now but it'll not happen in the next 10-15 years I suspect regardless of what we do. Can't see how we'd expand beyond that. -

It doesn't sit right with me to cut hibs allocation. The few thousand fans that go to Easter Road deserve to see that game ahead of supporters who are less committed in comparison who'd but a season ticket in the Roseburn. It also ruins the atmosphere of the derby. -
Hearts v Hibs - The Battle for 4th

A really disappointing season but the reaction to this predictable result from Hibernian Football Club, it's manager and supporters has been a welcome boost. Thanks to all. -

Below average is a bit harsh imo. With everyone fit we're a good side but you have to expect injuries and compensate with signings. Hibs have missed key players too this year. When considering the squads as a whole they're all about average I think, probably shouldn't be competing for third under normal circumstances. Boyce and Halkett got done in European games, I'm not sure what impact it has so long as you're spending the £3m Euro profit on players to compensate. We only spent a third of it apparently. Its interesting that I've seen each of Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs play good stuff and terrible stuff and that away form has been poor for each side. Is this a consequence of playing more possession based football out from the back? Who knows but confidence and team work has been an issue for all three sides. Anyway I would be miserable this summer and desperate for club football to resume to make up for it but I've remembered the Scotland double header this June and we're DEFINITELY qualifying so I'll be too busy soaking that up to care about hearts for a while. -

Bingo. It doesn't matter if it's virtually impossible, it'll cause cranial detachment as other fans are aghast at your arrogance. -

If you're not on this site to rip the pish out of other fans when you're on top then you're as dull and grey as Aberdeen granite. Creating the jeopardy of calling it early is part of the fun. It's been dull for weeks with the Dandies going oh erm um, not sure if we'll do it ken when it was clear after Rangers they would. That's it my man. Bookmarked for when we murder you this weekend shree zip. -

I'd take that, it'd be funny as hell if Inverness got group stage Euro football instead of, let's be honest, pretty average hearts, hibs and Aberdeen sides. -

I've got a feeling that it'll all be done this evening with Aberdeen winning and us losing or drawing. I was up for giving Neilson time until we lost to St. Mirren but in retrospect he should have gone a couple of weeks earlier. there's still the chance through Euro qualifiers of course but it requires a lucky draw and us at the top of our game with a good pre season behind us. -

Such fresh patter. What a zinger. -
Aberdeen v St Mirren
Falcor Roar replied to Captain_Sensible's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
St Mirren are probably more likely to win a two leg tie against a good European side than Hearts, Hibernian or Aberdeen are so wouldn't mind them making it anyway. -

Not giving Josh Ginnelly the 3 year contract he wants and deserves would be peak Heart of Midlothian. Stop pissing about and get it done. -
Hearts vs Aberdeen - Saturday 20th May

Is the last 5 pages just kickback trolls whittling absolute tedious nonsense and Aberdeen boys crowing about how angry we are? If so I'll skip it. -

He's two and a half so he's at the stage where he can understand basic instructions but is usually inclined not to follow them. He does nap during the day for an hour at least. I just think carrying him on public transport and along busy roads sounds like a pain in the arse. Eating out can be hit or miss I'm terms of enjoyment, I usually shovel my food down Quickly while trying in vain to keep him occupied. -

That's my thinking too, I'll be dreading it. Mrs wants to go back to Portugal because we used to go there twice a year. But that was when it was just us and we could get pissed up and have a big lunch in the sun and walk for miles exploring places. I suggested we book a hotel on Lindesfarne Island outside Berwick upon tweed. Let's just find somewhere safe with no traffic and lots of beaches for the boy to play on but I don't think 10 miles over the Scottish border was exotic enough. -
Chumps v Champs

I didn't mean for you to get too focused on the work thing, that's just one example of where you might encounter other football supporters day to day. In your hypothetical question, yes I'd have still cared. Obviously less so but still it always stings to lose to Hibs.
