I also oppose summer football. A panic reaction to an inevitable scenario in a poorly run league - the East and South leagues finish their seasons find with the same amount of cup competitions we have (don't scrap any cups either i'd say)

In your thread on seeding last only Linlithgow, Pollok, Arthurlie fans supported seeding. Wonder why! How far is too far again? The North will not see it's standards go up any quicker and it is, obviously, favourable to bigger sides.

The vast majority of North v South ties are total mis-matches that cost clubs a great deal of cash that many have extreme difficulty raising,
Seeding and regional ties in first two rounds would solve a load of these problems. Quoted Ardeer v Darvel fine: what about Cruden bay v Ardeer 0r Darvel v Fraserburgh?

Are Albion Rovers, East Stirling equal to the Old Firm? Can Chelsea and Man.Utd look on Lincoln as equals? In the junior game you make your own level more open to any progressive team than the above examples. Arthurlie have been down in the depths and could return and would be faced with non-seeding.

Seeding/Regionalisation is for big sides who think they are above smaller ones and don't mind the lesser lights playing each other over and over again. Having first round draws of Darvel v Ardeer would kill cup interest. How far is too far? Last year you said Newburgh was too far.
