  1. They have already considered it and rejected it before even getting to a vote.
  2. Yes. 0-0 Half time at Hurlford v Largs. Glenafton v Beith kicks off in about ten minutes.
  3. The SJFA found an extra 15 supporters from somewhere.
  4. Was thinking similar earlier on. I was at both semi finals in 1994. Kilwinning must have had around 5K of the 6,151 that were at Somerset v Largs. In the other semi final, Arthurlie had the bulk of the 7,192 crowd against Glenafton. I did wonder at the time what size a crowd an Arthurlie v Kilwinning final would have had. Although there was a healthy 8,668 at Ibrox for Largs/Glenafton.
  5. "was about" 1300 - that doesn't sound very official. There should be an exact figure somewhere that is being reported to the SJFA as they need to know how their 60% share was arrived at. Why do the SJFA never release the reported attendance figures? They should have them for all games in this competition.
  6. I think the Twitter SJFA guy must read P&B.
  7. There was a rule at one time (during the six regions era) where no match could take place within 45 miles of a semi final game and no games at all in the region of either the semi finalists.
  8. The advantage of the blue check mark on Twitter is the ability to edit posts - though it took them 22 minutes to realise.
  9. Ok - I revise my play-off results. Talbot and Broxburn beat Dalbeattie Star 1-0, Talbot and Broxburn draw 2--2 and Broxburn win 4-1 on penalties. The end result is the same - Possil YM is happy yet again a West club fails to get promoted. EDITED to 4-1 on penalties. Any more corrections and Beith are winning the League.
  10. Top five: Auchinleck Beith St. Cadocs Clydebank Darvel Auchinleck and Broxburn will beat Dalbeattie Star 5-0 and 10-0 respectively and then the two of them will draw 2-2 so Broxburn get promoted to the Lowland League. You're going to be amazed at how accurate my prediction is.
  11. Here's the League table on this date last year (it popped up on my Facebook memories). I've got this feeling Auchinleck might actually win the League despite their dreadful start. I know they're worse off this time around but they're getting a run of results at a good time. 10 wins out the last 11 games. There have been four more games played overall on this date this season.
  12. Darvel should have known this was standard procedure and waited for the tickets from Auchinleck. But Auchinleck are not wanting the game to be all ticket - so all those tickets sold by Darvel will need refunded as they will be worthless on the day of the match.
  13. I think of all the teams at this level, Clydebank will have the LEAST following a "big team" . Certainly when they started out in the Juniors Clydebank WAS the big team - (ignoring the petty arguments), they saw themselves as a continuation of the team that had only about 16 or 17 years earlier been playing in the Scottish Premier Division.
