Anyone know the script about transferring tickets? I am aiming to attend all three but work may only permit me to go to one. Can I move them to someone else later? No points issued so no harvesting risk. Uefa indicate that you can transfer if unable to attend but also say tickets are subject to association rules which usually doesn't permit transferring?

Regarding 'talking shit' about something I haven't got a clue about, I am on the committee and can safely say I know more than you who goes to the occasional game. As was mentioned above, this was announced by the club and people were being informed of this from last season at the gate. Fairly standard practice at any venues, particularly ones at capacity. Big stadiums in Scotland will not have doors unlocked as standard, as people would wander in off the street. They are opened to let people out as required and then locked again. In the event of an emergency at Newlandsfield, the gate would be opened and then locked again. In the bizarre, hypothetical event that you described where an official has had a stroke, then one of several key holders would open the gate in his place, presumably after seeing to the stricken committee man. I would also assume that supporters would have the wherewithal not to clamber over him to get to Morrisons also. Not entirely sure what the rest of your rant is about to be honest, so will leave it at that.

People were allowed out, they just informed that they would not be allowed back in. Your initial post wrongly suggested that Pollok were disregarding basic safety regulations and locking people in. NOT FACT.

I have come across plenty of Talbot folk at Cumnock games, and vice-versa. Plenty of the younger generation do it, especially with the schools being merged now.

Was fascinated to find out that West Linton had a team, and wish I had known about them during my year staying in nearby Blyth Bridge. Granted that was during Covid so don't know how many games were going on at that point. Gotta add it to my list of borders teams I need to go and see (all of them are currently on the list).

Gotta take into account the team's involved also. Drumchapel don't have a fanbase to speak of beyond their youth players and families and have Spartans ever been particularly well followed? Add in the fact that Spartans have their eye on bigger things and it made for a strange final. Spartans went in at half time 2-0 up and were happy to sit on that lead in the second half, while Drumchapel didn't appear particularly bothered about coming back into it. Guys giving up on very reachable through balls and no bookings til injury time said a lot. The difference in professionalism also very apparent at half time. Spartans had a coach organising their subs into a wee small sided passing drill, while Drumchapel hit shots into the stand like it was a Sunday morning league.
