  1. Well I am going to hold my hands up!! I have been critical of the board, the exodus of players, etc. But my word has Tam done some good. and with the return of Buchanan, some clever signings and inspired loanees, and vision to start the signings for next season. the feel good is starting to ramp up. I would love to see the form we're currently in, at the start of the season and not tail off at Christmas. to see where we'd end up. But the light of optimism is starting to brighten. and Yes I was wrong, I'll stick to my job !!!
  2. To be fair, I really don't care if the entire board at Bonnyrigg, were abducted by an alien race from Pluto. Liam is back as a Berwicker, and scoring. The feel good is back
  3. If that is the case, I will recind everything I have said about the board
  4. Taken from the Grove to the Harrow Facebook page Was there today. Every time Gala got possession they progressed and got a shot away, non-existent midfield and piss poor at the back. Couple of half chances in return but by all means a fair result. We looked like a team of kids, which bar a few older heads we now are. What’s much more worrying than the performance today is the fact I only recognised 3/4 faces there. No engagements on socials either. Even angry responses show people care but there’s nothing. Two piss poor losses this week and basically silence. you make a good point. It’s not seen as a good thing to be critical at the moment. I’ve been called a trouble maker, I need to put my money where my mouth is etc. all I said was basically sacking our top scorer, probably the best goal getter we’ve had since Kevin Todd, (not forgetting he was the league’s top scorer last season) was stupidity. No other option was looked at or discussed. No one was approached, sponsors, supporters, the supporters organisations to help with his salary as has been done many times in the past, Marc Antony for example. Goal scorers are hard to find, Liam was unique and still is at this level. I can’t critique the current team as I’ve not seen them. By all accounts we play some good stuff and been unlucky but it’s starting to be worrying. As you point out, not many fans seem to care anymore. This is where abouts I am, I cannot bring myself to care now, before the fire sale we were mediocre, now we're just plain clueless, we'll see next season on our way to the East of Scotland
  5. I agree, at last communication from the board, its was sorely needed. Trouble with me though, I receieved a similar email from my employer, and again its all about what we need to do, It would be nice to see a more detail heavy. But it will be all academic come next season, if things not improve as we may not have the cushion of Gretna and Edinburgh Uni
  6. So this is what a win feels like ............. off for a lay down now
  7. HIya JC Its good to hear something is happening, there seems to be precious little else coming out of the Club. As I have previously said, down sarf here, there seems to be absolutely no news from the higher echelons, on present and future plans, aspirations etc, and i have emailed the club shop with 0 reply. it kinda leaves you with an attitude of why should I bother!! Match days, now, I find myself actively avoiding the looking at the result, listening to commentary. even looking to work !!! Nothing inspires me to make the 560 round trip to Shielfield. So anything coming out of Shielfield is welcome
  8. The only time in the last 3 years !!
  9. Noticed Antell was not on the roster today, has he left ?? Again had our arses handed to us by lower league opposition. Can't see where the next goal is coming from let alone a win, nothing from the board/chairman, players i don't even recognise now. Sorry but after a long shift I sat down, but the computer on to listen to the match commentary, Harris got red carded I switched off, I could have predicted how today would end. So what of the future, quite frankly I have lost all enthusiasm/feeling for Berwick, they are architects of their own downfall, and EOS wouldn't be a bad thing now as their are still those wandering with Rosy tinted glasses, talking of next season.
  10. Would the last to leave, switch off the lights, we can't afford the electric
  11. Well go to bed earlly for a 3 am shift and look what happens. Good luck Stu, but I don't he was the man to get us anywhere, will Tam to any better ?? What is noticable, The board, silence is deafening. Still look for positives doon sarf
  12. All I'll say is the media, are very keen to mention pay every time, yet most passenger companies and indeed the freight side its about conditions that have been eroded over a number of years, which don't get be wrong Drivers are not adept to change, but all the conditions that were hard fought for won't be given away. Newky I haven't had enough of my team, Ive had enough of how the club has been administered, without accountability.
  13. Is there a good union ??? basically the choice is RMT/ASLEF or TSSA, the only one that really represents Drivers is ASLEF
