Should the SPL Board allow a new-co Rangers to be parachute straight back into the SPL??

I thought this had already been done but could not find it.

I just want to know how many of us would stop going...

Having read so much pish in the last few months about how much we " NEED" Celtic and Rangers and how without one or both that Scottish football would die I feel the need to say this.( now I know that I could have just posted this on one of the many threads that roughly cover this but decided it would be better on a new thread. I am sure some will give it the usual pish but this is a forum and this is what I want to say).

I would like to point out that St.Johnstone spent 7 years in the 1st division (2002-2009) During that time we had NO TV MONEY, we had NO league games against Celtic or Rangers and yet we survived and actually came out of the division with ...a cash surplus in the bank. WHY??? well we cut our cloth accordingly. Those people peddling the myth that Scottish football would die without Celtic & Rangers are simply wrong and are merely attempting to use scaremongering tactics to get their own way. Yes, there would be pain along the way and yes, there would be less money to spend but we would just adapt and evolve. In the first few years, some clubs might go into admin and indeed one or two might even be lost but Scottish football would go on and the rest of the clubs would reduce spending to levels which fitted with their finances. As this transition occured, youth would be given a chance and out of the ashes something wonderful would rise. With no TV deal and games returned to the traditional 3pm on a Saturday, crowds WOULD increase. With a fairer playing field, many more clubs would be in with a chance of winning the title and the cups and crowds WOULD increase. With no vile bigots infesting our stadia, I suggest families would also return as football grounds became more friendly and crowds WOULD increase. The above is in no way rocket science and is (with hard work) achievable. So I say to Old Firm fans " Go on, try yer best to worry the rest of Scottish football fans but don't think for a moment we don't know yer game, because we do " The futures bright but it aint green or orange..

I love away games.. Bring it on and lets see if we can spoil the party..
