  1. Definetly. I was reading at The Miami Herald he has taken everybody to the combine to evaluate players. Patriots seem to be Brady and cast now they dont have the likes of Bruschi and Harrison for never say die attitude now. Jets are Jets. Bills always seem to have good players but never show it ? As a Dolphins fan it's a shame Marino wasnt a rookie at Dolphins now. Fantastic QB wrong era.
  2. As a Dolphins fan this is the most exciting off season in a long time. Dolphins have around $45m cap space to play with. Plenty of options in areas of need that could open up the draft where Miami have five picks in top 100 I was impressed with Joe Philbin last season and trust him to make / help Jeff Ireland pickup or resign right free agents and draft picks.
  3. I remember been down on the bus and a lot of boys putting money on. I was too young at the time to get near the bookies. Use to love away trips. Brechin, Airdirie, Stenhousemuir, Stirling Albion, St.Johnstone..........
  4. Anderson is 3/10 on with Ladbrokes !!
  5. Moon - 8/10 Had a good twist to it. Liked Sam Rockwell in this, he's been good in a few films I've seen. Harry Brown 6.5/10 Michael Caine playing old codger sorting out young hoody thugs. Quite violent in parts.
  6. I hate my four days off when I'm skint !!

  7. Transformers. 9/10. Class movie hopefully be a sequel.
  8. I was involved in the running of Caledonian for several years we had a very good side until last year when unfortunately we got relegated. You think the SFA run a shoddy shop, Inverness Amateur / Welfare football is a hundred times worse it's hard to keep boys interested. Caledonian as it stands is basically a mix of the old Caledonian Amateur League team and a side called Caley Shots. The old Caledonian team was setup as a replacement when Caley went and Caley Shots started off as a works team with a good few anti merger boys who now play as one team (hope that makes sense !!!). Oh and if you're looking to see them play it's normally on a Tuesday at the Bught but can vary.
  9. Have to agree with HowdenEnder Caley in the early eighties were a quality side. Remember the Ally Jappy signing as well he was the folks insurance man, I remember leaving my Caley scarf out when he was at Elgin to noise him up and he took it all in good jest was an awful signing by Caley but to be fair there were a few at the time. Spot on about John Teasdale was it Barbazza (Babarouskies) you spoke to him in ? Remember Baltacha for his negative football as well particulary a game in Rothes one day where he was shouting at Kenny Taylor to stay back and defend at a corner ........we were about 4/5 up at the time and ended up winning 8 - 0 !!! Don't think he came to manage Caley in the Highland League either pretty sure he was here for the murder of Caley and the introduction of the plastic mob down the dump .
  10. Had many great times at away games particulary Scottish Cup remember bus driver getting lost on way to Brechin in a 2-1 defeat, 2-2 draw at Airdrie when my mate got punched in the face by some ned in dungarees, 4-1 win at Stenhousemuir after been a goal down and Danny MacDonald been stretchered off and the great night in Perth when Caley took over McDiarmid Park.
  11. Never really bothered to post on forums normally just read them but when I seen this topic felt I had to post - From the age of 6 till 18 I was a huge Caley fan from the first time I seen them play in a Scottish Cup match when we beat Albion Rovers 2-1 to our last ever game when we lost 2-1 at Huntly (think that's right memory is a bit hazy of that day due to alcohol intake ). I can't suffer ICT and agree wholeheartedly with people who refer to them as a plastic football team the whole way the merger was handled by the people who wanted it was a disgrace from start to finish from the buying of season tickets to the banning of anti merger season ticket holders. I always followed Dundee United as my Premier League team and have to say was not overly bothered when they lost to Gretna on Saturday as it kept that excuse of a football team bottom, what a shame a legend like Craig Brewster chooses to be associated with them.
