  1. I read it as the board asking Bowyer to fully commit (family/Blackpool rumours) as we have a massive job to get a full squad together next season. Presuming they didn't get the answer they wanted. If he was going to go it had to be now. Now they better not fook up the next appointment. Looks like they're leaving that down to Strachan.
  2. You're wrong to believe I haven't factored in Israel. We've all seen us play them multiple times over the last few years. I'm very aware of some of the talented individuals they have - a couple of which I'd love to have. However they are also short in defence and we don't really have anyone missing that bothers me (assuming everyone in the squad is fit). I think we're better as a team overall. Full capacity Hampden will be rocking and we have a decent record at home. I guess we'll see on Saturday.
  3. For me, hope and expectation has always been there. Sometimes admittedly more on the hope side. But I expected we would improve in those times. Right now I feel like we're justified to have more than hope.
  4. I agree that this is definitely something Clarke will be considering, as we know McGinn can get us goals. I hope this isn't the line up though. Need to pressure their defence and go with two up top and McGinn in behind. Any two of Gilmour/McTominay/McGregor should be more than capable of holding the midfield with McGinn helping out and bombing forward.
  5. Should we expect to win a home game at a full capacity Hampden against Israel if we have any notions of qualifying for the World Cup? Yes. Is there any guarantee we will? Absolutely not. Without hope and expectation we may as well not bother turning up.
  6. I think there's still a question mark over the the CB positions for Clarke. Tierney is nailed on, but it's a chance for Hendry and Cooper to prove themselves against a good team. Interested to see how much of an impact Turnbull can make too, but think the midfield will struggle against the 3 in the middle for Holland.
  7. For what it's worth on the whole 3 at the back debate... Belgium, ranked number 1 in the world, beat Belarus 8-0 playing 3 at the back (as they often do). They didn't even bother playing De Bruyne or Lukaku either. I'd go with something like this (potentially Mcgregor/Armstrong instead of Fleck/Christie)
  8. Postie spotted. NOW HURRY THE f**k UP AND STOP FANNYING ABOUT WITH OTHER PEOPLE'S MAIL!!
