Reading Game of Thrones at the moment. Not long in, but it's goooood

Prometheus - 5/10 Was looking forward to this but was left a little dissapointed. Bit of a predictable storyline, too similar to the original Alien films and I know it's supposed to be a 'prequel' but thought they could have changed it up a wee bit. Only highlight for me was Charlize Theron in a tight fitting spacesuit.

Really good trilogy this. Thouroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. Would also recommend the Eagle series by Simon Scarrow if you liked this trilogy. 10 books in the series so far about 2 soldiers in the Roman legions.

Watched 'Avengers Assemble' at the weekend. Sucker for a super hero type movie and overall thought it was quite good. Only complaint is that the final large battle scene could have been longer. Took 2 hours to set up the battle and it was over in 20 minutes. Overall 7/10

Watched 'IP Man' on Film4 last. Based on the Chinese martial art master Yip Man, grandmaster of the Wing Chun style of Kung Fu. He's the guy who taught Bruce Lee and many others. 8/10 IP Man 2 was on after but I've Sky + that for tonight.

After the aberration that was the Crystal Skulls, I was looking through my meagre DVD collection and came across this wee beauty. The original French version of the film Taxi (1998) written by Luc Besson. Watched it last night and I must say, even with the subtitles, it's a very good fast paced film and stars, then little known, French actress Marion Cotillard. 8/10

Sorry to say but I watched Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls again last night......and enjoyed it.

Stayed up to watch the match last night so flagging a bit now, but was worth it. Thought when Djokovic came back to 2-2 I thought Murray had blown it as I could only see one winner. But he dug in and got the job done. Wel done Andy
