Burke has been sold, while 2 defenders have been brought in. I feel im becoming addicted already

What a result! County win again! A 2-1 borefest, with a whopping 3 incidents in the second half.

Anyway, it's the cup next time up, so remember to rest those regulars and restore your reserves if you don't want any injuries!

Edited to add; no, that was me being dumb.

As a sidenote, has anyone had a substitute score yet?

Dundee are taking it up the hoop and obligingly giving a gam at the other end. What a disgrace.

Made a few more signings this week, and tweaked my tactics, so Airdrie will be the team who feel the first Thistle backlash, starting tomorrow

2-2 away to Airdrie. At least I've stopped the rot, and nice to see new winger, Joaquin Reyes scoring twice on his debut.

Onwards and upwards. :D

Yes, Dobie has come on twice and scored for me.

After crashing out of the cup to Aberdeen - McQuilken got sent off after 13 mins  - I've bounced back with 2 league wins in a row. With further signings to come its looking good for a challenge at the top, although I do have a couple of tough games coming up.

I have now constructed a brand new set up called 'Pie & Bovril Scottish League'.

The format is 3 leagues of 14 teams, with a three up, three down set up, along with promotion playoffs.

All Scottish sides are there, and which teams in which leagues were based on the current standings of the clubs. Well, apart from Annan which it bizarrely wouldn't allow me to choose on the basis that they don't have enough players

Therefore, as there's no non league clubs available, I've chosen Drogheda Utd from the Irish League as the '42nd team'.

The set up isn't live yet. The next set of leagues to go online is @ 4.30 today, however they only set up 3 at a time, so mine maybe won't be there. Should be live by the end of the day though.

Mr X, if you want to start a new thread on this and maybe pin it, feel free.

I'm still gonna play the existing one we've got going, but this new one could be interesting. :D

...and I can go the Albion now!!

Is there an easy way to find the league? If so, start a new thread and pin it, by all means.

Jesus...some of the transfers are a bit unrealistic do you not think...I also believe I offloaded someone to Stirling Albion on loan :)

Aye, cheers. :D

Some of the transfers are a bit unrealistic, which is a bit of a shame, although I've already had two players turn down a move to the Albion.

I notice my Partick side in the other set up was gubbed again by Jim Pansy's Ross County, 3-1 at home. :(

What a horrendous start I've had in that game. Hopefully my Albion side can do better in the P&B league, although we're the worst side in the 2nd Division, before any transfer activity.

I have 27 teams, is that sad? <_< :(
It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning too long to believe that the tide is going to turn. And I've been living too hard to believe things are going to get easier now. I'm still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I've learned. And if I see Van Helsing, I swear to the lord I will slay him. AHA HA HA. He take you from me but I swear I won't let it be so. AHA HA HA. Blood, will run done his face, when he is decapitated AH! His head on my mantle is how I will let this world know...how much I love you.

My 'Well team won the "anglo-scottish" league this season and got to both cup finals :)

I think I managed to keep it sensible when buying players.

GK - Roberto Abbondanzieri - 91

RB - Christian Panucci - 92

CB - Ivan Cordoba - 94

CB - Fabio Cannavaro - 95

LB - César Aparecido Rodrigues - 90

RM - Mauro Camoranesi - 93

CM - Anderson Deco - 93

CM - Antonio Augusto Ribeiro Reis Junior - 94

LM - José Roberto da Silva Júnior - 92

CF - Antonio Di Natale - 93

CF - Alessandro Del Piero - 93

Quite realistic?

Di Natale finished winning MVP and the Golden Boot :) with 25 goals in 29 games
and Del Piero finished third in the goalscoring ranks with 22 in 32 B)

I've no idea, I've changed formations, tactics, brought in good new players (only one of which is over 34 as opposed to your dad's army  ), and nothing seems to work. :(

I like how Richie Hart came on for fifteen minutes, scored, and got man of the match.

You don't win anything with kids.

Edited to add; Lionel Ganea is proving the steal of the century. 7 goals in 5 games. Wow. Romanian internationalists are the way to go. (Having said that, I only have one other player with more than one goal)
