Anyone else played/playing this?

I signed up and played a long time ago and it was ok, but pretty basic. Looks like its had some major development since - some of the tactics look very Football Manager-ish  and the squads have the real players in them.

Anyway, I've just started with Queens in Gameworld "Scottish 46". There are still some teams available.

Been playing this for about three years now.

At one point, I was controlling over 30 teams, but I've cut it down to about 15 now. :D

Cracking game. One of my accounts is a Gold account, so I've got a couple of my own setups in there.

I've just taken over as Partick Thistle boss in the same setup.

If there was others interested in this, I could make a private setup where everyone was controlling their own side. Would be pretty good.

Anyone have a left midfielder they want to sell? Perhaps in a swap deal for a centre half of striker?

League games are played every Wednesday & Saturday (Thurs and Sun on privare setups), and cup games are on a Monday.

Teams have to be picked for 8pm.

You can have Peter MacDonald if you like though I'd be looking more for a straight cash deal rather than a swap.

Cheers, but I'm looking for a left midfielder rather than winger.

There's quite a powerful search tool on it, you should be able to find a LM no problem. You can only deal in cash with unmanaged/external clubs though. Player swaps can only be done with managed clubs in this set up.

What's your budget?

About five hundred grand, I would guess. (Is this too much for a Ross County player?) A couple of my players are rated over a million, so I'm not entirely sure how to gauge it.

Just have a search for someone in that position, and you can get an idea of the price for each rating/age of a player.

For £500,000, you should get a decent 75-80 rated player, however if you sniff around, you might be able to pick up a higher rated player who's in his 30's for that price. The good thing about this setup is that the majority of good external players will still be available as there's no big clubs in the set up.

Michael Tarnat, who can play LM is available for around £170k, although he is 39yrs old, so you might not get many seasons out of him. He's rated 87 though, so would be a decent purchase for this level.

I hadnt actually signed him, just had a bid accepted. I canceled it once I saw some of the keepers available on a free

edited to add - how long does it take free agents to make their minds up?

If nobody minds, I'm going to ask to get this thread pinned. Otherwise I'll forget to play.

Maybe if we get enough interest to start a P&B league I'll pin it.

You can unpin it if you like, I don't mind.
