Is that what you do when your hammering a team 3-0 at half time cos if you do then everyone should be doing it!!!!!!!! !!! Am sure going for a bovril was more what Jim was interested in, maybe getting the wrong end of the stick and not enjoying being 3-0 down might have contributed to going over the top and making up stupid stories.

Sounds like a bit of sour grapes to me that you think Jim would listen into a team talk to a team thats 3-0 down at halftime. Having played under Jim he would know exactly what was being said in the Threave dressing room as he has been in the game long enough and has had to lift a team at half time himself. It was a great game and a great advert for South football but then you get idiots like yourself posting pi$h!!!!!!!

JT listening in to Brydson and McVittie. What could he possibly learn from those two that he couldn't write on the back of a postage stamp? He'd pick up more listening in to Laurel & Hardy!

Believe me, Jim was definately talking to Billy Welsh and going for his Bovril. Good Job he never got fired up cause he'd ping people about like a crusty bogey.
He worked for MI6 before setting out as a painter.

Known Jim since his Dumfries Academy days perfect gentleman even in defeat unlike some South managers (one now stooped to alltime low) great to see he has built a good team at Crighton
without money that other teams have , but as always when you are top people will always try and knock you down.
I am sure Jim is laughing at this ridiculous suggestion and treati it with the contempt it deserves

Totally agree. Whether his team wins or loses Jim will be the first to shake hands with everyone at the end, unlike a lot of others !
