Can I presume that the Pennypit is in a playable state for this evenings epic?

ive saw spartans they have a very good squad they look the real deal this year,

Can't help but feel the loss of Kevin Motion and Ross Campbell in Midfield may come back to haunt us though. Campbell scored quite a few goals last season did he not? Motion was always dangerous at set pieces.

very true Motion was and is a very very good player, but with additions of Robbie Manson and Nicky walker( the road runner) and also yound Daryl Devlin(still on holiday i think tho) who is for me the most under-rated player in EOS he is very quick great in the air, fit, scores goals and uses both feet all the time, i think they might just be to much for preston
but with the other Manson up front for preston you cant help but wonder is there a sting in the tail for spartans

"A conspiracy against Spartans"? The team that usually wins the EOSL gets points at the end of the season from games postponed previously when the opposition usually can't be bothered- pace Welfare (and occasionally Spartans) title wins of the past.
Mind you, that wasn't Mr Panner I saw in a Navajo headdress doing a rain dance next to the Prestonpans Totem Pole last night was it.....?
Edinburgh City Football Club-
trophy grabbing upstarts since 2011!

Spoke to Bob Wilson today and he never mentioned the postponement.

Shocker. Postponement without RW's approval! I wonder if HibeeJibee will mention that to McLean when he next speaks to him?

I shall  .

The referee's inspection of the pitch proved conclusive, although as can be seen below, at first he felt the pitch was playable:
