OK,so the plan backfired as todays game was postponed,so on that basis i will let that one go.

More worrying is we have two clubs Coldstream and Eyemouth playing midweek, a chance for many who watch other teams on a saturday to see a local EOS team in action, what happens both get away fixtures.Ridiculous.

I know, it's disgraceful. The EOS should pass a new rule, demanding at least 1 game per round is played in Berwickshire. In fact, every team from Berwickshire should be at home in every round.

I am claim to be no expert but if eyemouth were playing a team in the city - would that not mean a team in the city would go down to hawick?? That would be an longer journey. I think you have to say someone has to lose out. And it is better eyemouth than a city team who could not make it unless they leaved their work early. If Eyemouth Utd not happy with this they should play in the border league. No excuses, it is only 1 game.

I think the kick off time is the only problem. 7:45pm!! Do the floodlights at Hawick actually work??

As I said in another post - as far as I am aware, all floodlit matches were listed in the official fixture list as 7:45pm. All unlit matches were listed as 6:45pm. In at least one case (for Lothian Thistle) the kick-off was revised because of uncertainty over their lighting. Presumably if Hawick had any doubts over their floodlights (which they have used recently) they would have done the same. Arguably, 6:45pm would create different problem anyway - travel time to get to the game.

Thats the correct way.So why do some clubs change ko times. If it says 6-45 its 6-45 if it says 7-45 its 7-45.What is so difficult.
