I know nothing can control the weather and if it has rained really heavily over the past few days then that's just one of those things.

However, is it not time to look at some of these pitches and maybe spend a bit of money on them so they can handle a bit of inclement weather?

It just seems totally weird to have games called off in August because of rain.
