East Of Scotland League Name Change? Gretna?

shouldnt the east of scotland league change its name??the likes of gretna and all other teams nowhere near the east of scotland playing in it contradicts its name.

Nothing wrong with the name almost all the teams are from the "east". Do you have a problem with that :P

If you feel the name has to be changed, how about Southern and Central League? Or Scottish Conference League? That one would stir things up.

Would searching for new sponsors for the League and League Cup, making sure we all play our part in making the fixture list work (are you reading this Gretna 2008?) and playing premier cup finals in quality venues (ahem that will be Ferguson Park then) with as much advance notice as possible not be more productive than finding a name that appeases how many teams?

Just a thought.

When I first suggested this I think I may have been flippant but then I got thinking,(dangerous, I know), it does have a certain amount of kudos. It may not be a bad idea after all.

Unfortunately the acronym of that is B.A.L.L.S but it might be appropriate!
