Heston done well to keep it at 0-0 until half time, but it fell apart after that.

Creetown were 1-0 up at New Abbey then big boy Quinn up front got 4 goals and missed a penalty <_< . Creetown down to 10 men for the last 20 minutes when the score was 2-1. The margin should have been wider as Abbey had a lot of chances

3-1 Saints. Ally McMillan,Mark Baker and Jamie Clarke for Saints which was a pretty easy win, but expected more from Star though.

Thought Wigtown were meant to have signed good players? Seems strange as Threave had 3 suspended.
Woooooooof

Aye, that's what I was led to believe. Can only imagine Threave must have signed Cocky and Wigtown simply couldn't cope :o

Threave wouldn't sell the ground for one player would they ? .

Saints dominated us 1st half and we were fukin awful but 2nd half was a totally different story and star were easily the better team.had saints on the ropes 2nd half but lead was already too big and could only score 1 goal. if we had played like we did in the 2nd half from the start we could have got something from the game. Jamie Clark ran the show tbh  deserved win for saints tho
We may travel by the railway lines . . .

I take it a lot of defences had yesterday off then...

Pick of the results are Threave's and Abbey Vale's for me,particularly the latter. It has been a good start for them and Ian Quinn and Lee Malin seem to have hit it off straight away.

Hello everyone....

First time poster, I was also at the game and thought the Creetown boy's were a little unlucky not to come away with at least a point! ;) .They also had some good chances.

Some good young players... Who i think just need some time to gel.

Agree that they have some good young players but to say they were unlucky not to come away with a point is taking the p***
At two one we had missed a penalty, hit the post, had an effort cleared off the line and missed numerous other chances and if creetown had scored at that point then maybe they could have stolen a point but we were by far the better team without playing well.
6 points from 9 with an away game at Heston on Wednesday decent start. ;)

couldnt agree more. vale didnt play great but still created loads of chances + shoudve won by far more. creetown have 1 or 2 decent players but cant see them doing much now the dumfries mercenaries have all left. good 3pts for vale tho after poor performance in midweek.
