I think you would be being pritty nieve if you feel the score line was a fair judgment of the game.

There is a big difference between suggesting the scoreline flattered us a bit (if you had said that then fair enough) and making out it "could have been ten for Stranraer". Perhaps the margin could have been a little wider if Harry hadn't played so well or the Reserves had finished better. Thats part and parcel of football though mate. At no point did I say the score was a fair judgement - but we are obviously going to try and take the positives out of it. Our boys can hold their heads up because we played some reasonable football in spells. It was never ever in danger of getting anywhere in the region of what you are suggesting. Your suggestions of what would have been a more realistic scoreline are niave IMO. Football is all about opinions though and I respect yours even if it does appear incredibly biased.

The No7 is the best player I have seen in the Southern Counties for years.

Ryan Adamson is an excellent player, I think he is planning on going to america next year on a scholarship.

I was not being disrespectful atall and I am sorry if it came accross that way. I am sure posters on this forum know the situation with the reserves taking the pic of the bunch and so on. That was the reason for my post being so short. I think you would be being pritty nieve if you feel the score line was a fair judgment of the game.
Fair play to you and your team and I understand how frustraiting it must be for you to attract players.

Im not going to be disrespectful either so I wont comment on a certain players very short performance for Stena tonight :P Bit naive to think that by pushing a player they werent going to get sent off :P :D

He must have been carrying an injury if he didnt score and was sustituted :D . Cant wait to see the legend in the flesh, it will be the highlight of my season unless he manages to get on the scoresheet and prove to us all that he really is the brightest new talent in the South West if not the northern hemisphere :P

I reckon Cocky should be left alone now (although I doubt he will be) he`s obviously a naive young boy who has made an arse of himself and is obviously embarassed judging by the fact that he has not posted anything since his infamous comments.
Heston are obviously a bottom three team of kids and could do without the agro.
It was funny while it lasted though

Going by what some others got away with the certain player could maybe have been forgiven for thinking that  . By the way there were no sending offs in the game. ;)

Nice that you could be bothered to create a brand new account just to post that! <_< Seriously though I have seen games where one of the teams bag 10 goals and they are a lot more one sided that the one that was played on Wednesday.

Yes the score line slightly flattered us and mainly due to a great performance by our keeper. But are keepers not expected to have good games. If a striker scores a hat trick should we be saying 'ah but if it wasnt for their striker scoring 4 goals they wouldnt have won that game'. Keepers are expected to save shots, u cant count every effort as that should have been a goal. Comments like Murdy should have had 6 goals! (official website). He never scored 1 so to say 6 sounds a bit unrealistic- doubt he had 6 shots. Undoubtedbly our keeper played extremely well and had a couple of saves that did majorly help us so thats why I would agree that the score did read better than it should for us.

And come on give us a break our young team didnt have the experience of the Stranraer Under 19s, sorry I mean team of 17 to 23 year olds, sorry I mean ...... who knows!! :P
