Mids 2 Wigtown 3

A 5 min spell in first finished the game off. Mids scored first but then Wigtown equalised, scored a pen after ball could and should have been cleared 2-3 times. Couple mins later a through ball bounced high on dry pitch and keepers hands went up automatically. Unfortunately he was outside box and last man. Seemed to kill game afterwards as Wigtown domeinated with extra man. Mids reserve keeper had two good saves.
Further goal by Wigtown after about an hour sealed win although Mids did pull a goal back. A dry bumpy pitch did not help either team in getting ball down and playing football

actually the boy wonder never scored yesterday...had a decent shot saved by the keeper but was largely ineffective :)

Heston also reduced to 10 men mid way through 2nd half

Mids had better watch themselves on Wednesday night then :D . There is no way his dry spell can continue :P

I watched the first half of this and no wonder Cockinho's head is so big the bench was calling him a different class for closing a player down  , headless chicken springs to mind. Both teams were poor IMO, the best player i thought was the lad who played on the left for Heston he looked handy. The Heston keeper and Stuart Currie for Star did well while i was there also.

Another thing the players who werent stripped for Heston were standing next to the dugout with strongbow and fosters professional touch lads  . And whoever Heston's Linesman was he looks very much like Al Bundy

to be fair to the Heston bench tho they did slate his 2nd half effort. ;)

also thought Davie Bothwick had a good shift for Heston, for an old timer

both teams poor! both bottom half of the league teams. gatehouse should have been up 2 or 3 by half time. this boy that plays for heston, who is he? because all stikers for heston did nothing all day against a very poor gatehouse defence!

Watched the Fleet v Heston match. It had been a fairly even contest until the 2nd half, even with 10 men Heston seemed to have a bit more than the home side. This Cocky lad didn't really impress at all, as previously written he had one good shot but everything else bounced off him, just ended up placing his team under pressure. Was quite impressed by the Fleet star keeper, for Heston the Clark boy on the left did ok, as did the Heston keeper and the two guys playing at the centre of defence for them won everything.
Very good turnout at the match, pitch was looking good which is a credit to anyone involved with Fleet Star.

You are right that Irving is dedicated to his club, but disagree with the fact that other clubs dont have similair. I know of numerous personnel behind the scenes at clubs who are commited to the success or sometimes just even survival of their team. :)
