Oh dear, this thread is cringe worthy! I'll await hearing the bump as Heston come crashing back down to earth! Max Thistle ... what next ... Partick Thistle!

lol, i agree, very cringe worthy. would it not be better to bum yourself and your team up after you've actually done something in football worth bumming about! lol. i look forward to seeing this 'cocky' in the south league this season , after all it may only be a short time that we are graced by his presence in our league if he is to be believed , the scouts will be flocking! :P

in my experience of playing and watching football i have learned that the really good players dont actually need to come out and tell everyone how good they are , they do their talking on the pitch and its other people who actually tell them how good they are. so i'l look forward to finding out this season if this player is as good as he says or if he is just another young gun who believes his own hype! ;)

Cocky by name Cocky by nature it would seem. a young lad who seems to think this heston team are going to take the south league by storm. i would agree with a previous comment that this team are no better than an average amatuer team. the worst part of it is abbey vale will no longer be the whipping boys of that league and will more or less own heston this season.

speaking of which the only way this cocky will be targeted is from a teams manager who wants him put in the air for his cockiness, players who talk a good game generally dont end up playing a good game but we will see.

Thats if he hasn't already been signed up by an S.F.L side or even Real Madrid after he demolished the mighty Max Thistle all by himself! I'm guessing he got all 7 against the Bombers?

Neil Scally - Hard b*****d! He'd kick your granny!

Goal of the Tournament P and B 5's 07 me v Airdrie All Star's in the semi finals - pick that one out!

You'd have backed him to go 50-50 with a JCB and come up with the ball

Any truth that St Johnstone had a scout there? I'm told by a reliable source they were watching someone in the team Heston were playing, Will Cocky have caught there eye?

From Friday's Perthshire Advertiser preview of Saturday's friendlies:

"Luncarty take on Heston Rovers who hail from Dumfries where they play in the South of Scotland Amateur League and are one of its better teams."

Have I missed something here or has Cocky been mouthing off to Perthshire journos too?
