Heston Rovers won again today with a comprehensive 5-3 win over max thistle! We are playing the Balmoral bombers on tuesday nyt @ Norfolk Park, Glencaple 7 o'clock Kick Off! Come down and support the boys!! If u wan't 2 see the future stars of the Southern Counties come along!!!!! Cocky is currently being scouted by many sides and has strolled through the first two games, banging in 2 goals and 2 assists! Raymond Boyd has the boys ticking although todays 2nd half performance was well below par. A special shout for Stevie Walker who put in an excellent shift filling the water bottles for the boys!! That's all he's good for these days! B)

Would it not make sense for a team looking to make an impact in the south league to be playing better south teams, east of scotland or league teams, and not playing saturday and sunday amateur teams? :P

Heston are no more than an average amateur side, and i think you'll struggle in the south league! Did you have the same 98 players turn up again today?

Who else are you's playing? The girl guides? :D

My mistake sorry Stewart would never have been on a site like this bumming himself up,your dad was and probably still is a gentleman. If you have half your dads talent you will do well and we will all wait with baited breath for the rave reviews in the papers and solway press before you get your big move

Setting yourself up for a fall old boy talking about yourself like that especially as it was only against Max.
Remember its a different ball game when it kicks off next Saturday careful you don`t end up getting shafted every week and looking like a Penis!

are you actually going to turn up for all the games this season, heard last year you only turned up if it was a nice day and and the games were in a 20 mile radius of dumfries, and when you actually played you only lasted 30 mins before fannying off wae a sore groin when the going got tough.you couldnae lace big walkers boots never mind your fathers.when you've scored over 20 goals at the end o the season and actually won something then you can bum yourself up.ave seen you play, aye you've got the makings of a good player but unfortunately son you've got a lot to learn, respect for a start, big boydy n co will not stand your antics that i heard of last season you'll just not play and you'll end up playing for one of those teams you's have so easily disposed of in pre season.anyway prove us all wrong,i'll be the first to congratulate you, stick in.

I thought Pie & Bovril was a football forum. So why are you all talking about this Heston netball team?
Or maybe we could start talking about the pub league for a bit. About the same standard.

Bit harsh mate, think Mr Boyd should be given a chance to see what Heston bring to the party.....maybe start with bringing his loose cannons into line....wish Heston all the best but please let them do the talking on the park and not off it!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!

Oh dear, this thread is cringe worthy! I'll await hearing the bump as Heston come crashing back down to earth! Max Thistle ... what next ... Partick Thistle!
Neil Scally - Hard b*****d! He'd kick your granny!

Goal of the Tournament P and B 5's 07 me v Airdrie All Star's in the semi finals - pick that one out!

You'd have backed him to go 50-50 with a JCB and come up with the ball
