As previous transfer threads have went off on a tangent. Thought it might be an idea to list the actual comings and goings at the various clubs. NOT THE GOSSIP.
It helps give a better picture of what clubs are on the up :thumsup2 or down! :thumbsdown

For example if all the rumours are true Peebles have lost an entire squad and replaced them with amateur players. Likewise Eyemouth have signed a "new" team - what happened to their old squad? The Vale are on the up but who have they brought in? Many questions not a lot of answers

Oh WJR we are awful cheeky 2day!!!!

City have signed
Johnny Niven and Michael Watson (from Craigy (i think) both previously Spartans 19s)
Michael Bruce (previously East fife)

we also have another 1 or 2 on trial supposedly but i am unaware who they are!

Lost a few though, squad looks tight and so it is a relief Robbie is staying put

It always amazes me that there is an avalanche of rumours and then just flurry of of actual transfers. Hawick R.A. Gala Fairydean and Kelso United were all making noises regarding new players joining them but nothing seems to be happening in their camps. It is the clubs who have just got on with it that seem to be doing the business.

Don't wish to deviate from the purpose of the thread but I'm pretty certain the following is fact rather than rumour.

There is no danger Linlithgow or any other club will pay anything close to that sort of money for Robbie Ross. Whether Carrigan goes or not, Edinburgh City are simply pricing the boy out of a move to anywhere. I've heard talk of a demand in the region of £10k. I mean, that's got to be a joke. Carrigan is moving up about 5 leagues (if there were a pyramid!). Ross won't jump anything like that whether he moves to the juniors or SFL lower reaches. I'm sure City fans are happy he's staying. Whether you see the same player next season is another matter.

Spartans have signed some Australian boy who apparently used to play professional back home and was in the squad when Sydney FC won the league!

Add that to the Centre Midfielder from Sunderland!!!!! 22 year old who just missed out on a new contract and is friends with Omar Kader!!
Show me a good loser and i'll show you a loser!

What's that prove? My father knew Llyod George. I was Kaiser Bill's Batman and my mother danced with a man who's wife danced with the Prince Of Wales and.....finally, if my auntie had b****cks she'd have been my uncle! :)

Aside from the entire squad Gretna 2008 signed ex-Gretna FC player Mark Birch today.

Birchy played over 100 games for the old Gretna including the Scottish cup final and quite rare for an Englishman, scored in the shootout.
