It is just another defeat. Do you get 4 points if you beat us? Of course, it's always nice to beat your local rivals, and I'll concede the 7-0 game must have made you ecstatic, we'd have been the same had it been us at the time. But there's no way on earth we'd name supporters clubs after it, or make silly t-shirts about it TEN YEARS later. That's a level of sadness I hope our fans never reach

Just stumbled upon this thread - lucky me.

For what its worth my take on it is - OK, the 7-0 was a one off score that was great to watch and remember. It was a while ago now though. I dont have a problem with a supporters club being named after it. Maybe if Stirling had beaten Alloa 7-0 they might have done the same (we'll never know because it will never happen)

As far as I can see it isnt anyone from Alloa who is making the T shirt so why have a go at us about that. I wouldnt wear one but if someone wants to its their choice and thats fair enough.

I really cant be bothered getting into a slagging match about it. Its only a T shirt.

Yes, but the t-shirt is only scenery, the discussion is on why you are still celebrating, not just remembering in a point-and-laugh way, but physically celebrating ONE good derby result from aeons ago, particularly as we've gubbed you on several occasions since then. Just all seems a bit silly to me, that's all.
