Also, Mark Fotheringham ahead of Michael Essien.
They do mention quite a lot of the players that broke through at that time, just the order's a bit fucked up.

In fairness, Kaka' has always had problems with different matters. He was out the game for a whiles when he injured a vertabrae in his spine, he had growth problems and suffers from visionary problems. He never really made the breaks at Sao Paulo until later on.

I've got another one from roughly the same period from World Soccer Magazine I believe. They were quite accurate in their predictions from what I remember.

Also, how can you say andreas hinkel didnt fulfil his potential but mark fotheringham did?
maybe all those years in the lower divisions were the making of him aye?

I don't think it's in any sort of order, these kind of things usually aren't. It'll just be a list of 100 in no particular order.

Landon Donovan has hardly set the world alight
When he was in Europe he failed to make it
When he was in Europe he failed to make it
It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning too long to believe that the tide is going to turn. And I've been living too hard to believe things are going to get easier now. I'm still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I've learned. And if I see Van Helsing, I swear to the lord I will slay him. AHA HA HA. He take you from me but I swear I won't let it be so. AHA HA HA. Blood, will run done his face, when he is decapitated AH! His head on my mantle is how I will let this world know...how much I love you.
Die, die, die....I can't
Die, die, die....I can't

That's quite an interesting list. Some well wide of the mark but there must be some guys on there who were just breaking through and have gone on to big things.
I remember after the 1998 World Cup, FourFourTwo put together a squad for either the World Cup in 2006 or Euro 2008, when England's golden generation was expected to prevail. There were a few funny selections like David Lucas in goal, then of Preston but I remember they tipped a 16-year-old West Ham player called Joe Cole to do big things, which is quite impressive.
I also remember when their Boy's a Bit Special feature was on Kieran McAnespie!

Recreativo Huelva, although he seems likely to move back to France.
Also to point of Hassan Yebda has just enjoyed a brilliant six month spell with Le Mans and will play for Benfica next year. Its taken him a while to fulfill his potential (he's 23 now) but he's getting there.

After his performance last night I'd suspect Dean Ashton will not be the next great England number 9.

In our racing stripes, we rejoice at being "connected"
Without touching, thank god for the internet
We stare at our screens, all our lives, what a waste of eyes
'Till the electrical storm blows our fuses
And we gaze, dumbfounded, at the rain
Without touching, thank god for the internet
We stare at our screens, all our lives, what a waste of eyes
'Till the electrical storm blows our fuses
And we gaze, dumbfounded, at the rain

You think Gregory Vignal lived up to his potential?
I wasn't sure what happened to him, so left him out.

Point at laugh at Supras, at the number of people who have disappeared into non-entities, compared with some of them...
Why point and laugh at me, some of them made it, some didn't

Was wondering who this guy was so looked him up in wiki, he is Jamaican used to play for a club called CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh!
That club is now managed by the former English International Terry Fenwick! Also Marvin Andrews used to play there.
God, I'm interesting !

This thread just proves that Supras is a twat.
Interesting debating point to bring up but some of his comments are bewildering to say the least.
Anyway, as someone who is involved in the Supras I'd just like to say this twat has absolutely nothing to do with us.
Some of the 7 year old girls who help us out now and again have more footballing knowledge than Supras!!
