Thought it might be a good idea to create a thread detailing when all the friendly fixtures are taking place before the start of the season with everyone adding to it when they hear a game confirmed!

This is what happens when you have no football to keep yourself occupied with! You find yourself counting down the days until "kickabouts" start taking place :)

Here are a few for starters:

Threave Rovers v Morton, Wednesday, July 9.
Queen's Park v Threave Rovers, Saturday, July 12.
Threave Rovers v Kilmarnock, Saturday, July 23.

Sorry Twynholm, but Queens are a tad too big to playing Southern Counties teams or even the Annan tournament. I could see the point if we were going to run a reserve side, but gone are the days that we should be playing teams of that sort of caliber.

Burnley and the like is good for our status.

Queens always, Queens for ever and Queens through and through.

I agree but Ayr and Stranraer are good run outs, well that was the teams we beat last year. Burnley is a great friendly tho!

Think the cup final has maybe went to somebodys head, ok Ayr was an easy win for yous down at Annan but you drew 1 each with Stranraer after 90 minutes don't think thats quite too big to be playing us.

Also if Killie are big enough to still play Southern Counties teams I'd say Quee*s were too.

Magic - watch Annan reserves get gubbed by the league team on the Saturday before playing their first team on the Sunday for the honour of not finishing last!

Been here before

Hate to rain on the parade here but it will be Killie's under 19's reserves facing the South league boys. Pretty sure they won 4-2 or something at Threave last year with there youths out.
Neil Scally - Hard b*****d! He'd kick your granny!

Goal of the Tournament P and B 5's 07 me v Airdrie All Star's in the semi finals - pick that one out!

You'd have backed him to go 50-50 with a JCB and come up with the ball
