What are the chances of them getting the league place? Do they have anyone with money who would help them upgrade the stadium? Could they play in the egg chasing ground until a terrace or little stand is built?

They have one of the largest stands in non-league football as it is, they have floodlights, car park, a history of bids etc. etc. Like every club, they have a right to bid and IMO every club with even a vague chance of getting in should bid. Provided clubs don't blow huge sums of money on putting together fancy packages and presentations, it can only be a good thing. Boosting the profile of the club, and of their league, and showcasing the desire of non-league clubs for a proper access route to the national leagues. Gala have unique benefits, and certain downsides, like every other club.

Personally would like to see them make a serious bid. One side of the ground wouldn't take too much to get it proper, the rest a bit more. However Albion Rovers spring to mind as a team who have got by for years in the league with a "one sided" ground

Not to sure how much everyone is pulling in the same direction. There are still same going ons in with the Gala teams.
Also Gala United are nothing to do with the Fairydean.

I think they would struggle to get the local support both in physical terms and financially.
They are also far from the best team in the EOSL, which is what makes the bid process a farce.
Initially they would have the advantage of two local derbies to get decent crowds and there would be the novelty value for other travelling fans.

To be fair, they are struggling at EOS Division 1 level. I would imagine SFL 3 would be an impossible task.
