how can the critchon not play in the scottish cup, they won the south of scotland. They will have to move the game to Galabank or Palmerston but why deny them?

That is true technically - though maybe I should update it to say they don't have automatic entry to the Scottish Cup.

Until 2007, they were not allowed to enter the Scottish Cup. The changes to the Scottish Cup rulebook allow all Registered SFA members to qualify by winning their main league or cup (East of Scotland Premier, South of Scotland, Highland, West Junior Premier, East Super Division, North Junior Premier, Junior Cup).

Moving home venue (if unsuitable) was talked about, but I can't remember if the SFA put the possibility in place or not.

I don't know whether there is uncertainty about them entering or not (I've seen nothing in papers to suggest so). But if there is surely it would have come out at the time of the SFA AGM last week?

I hope (and anticipate) Crichton will get in, if necessary playing all their games at a neutral venue.
