CCTV footage released by the Manchester police, don't know if this has been posted already.

If you open the 'comments' tag at the bottom, you see how this tars all Scottish fans.

It's incredible that some of the apologists are bragging about 42 arrests....there should have been a hundred or so arrests on the basis of that video alone.

The good thing is it happened in Manchester city centre with lots of CCTV during daylight hours and thousands of pictures taken by fans.

The onlky way the Rangers support could mitigate their position now is to shop the fuckers who caused the trouble.....name the fuckers on the cctv...hand in pictures to the police for evidence and report every one of the fat rabid disgusting right wing cocks respsonsible.

Lets see how sorry they are and if they are willing to cooperate with the police.

Absolute spot on. B)

Well? Yes, everyone is agreed that the Rangers fans who did this are scum, and yes, Rangers should be punished for it, but again, what could Rangers have done to prevent this? If you cant think of anything sensible, then just say so.

It actually seemed far quieter than usual in Stirling last night, less police sirens than I normally hear.

I read on the Manchester Evening News website the 6 arrested for stabbing the Russky fan have been released without charge..... if that makes any difference (which it doesn't).

I went through to Manchester for the giggles and watched at the Velodrome (where there was no trouble to be fair). My favourite sight was a despondent youngish Rangers fan in tears and blootered attempting to pull off a gate to the stadium. Failing, and regrouping with a 10 metre run up and taking a welly at the gate. Didn't stop around to see him crumpled in pain with a broken foot.

I agree,if the old bill study the footage and can have names picked out,a few could be done with gbh.

I await the Daily Record to blame 'English hooligans' for the violence, just as they do whenever Rangers fans riot. They did it after Aberdeen saying it was all Chelsea fans fault, and blamed the English holiday makers again after Villareal. Nowt like sticking their heads in the sand.

You said it, not me, perhaps you would like to explain what you meant in simple terms? I dont get it. As far as I know, the police didnt suffer a spontanious failure of car batteries, preventing their siren from working. Explain the comment that you made on this thread.

Well, yes, I have physical shortcomings. Being a short fat b*****d, thats why I have to find any advantage I can if Im fighting for survival, no matter how small. Again though, eh?

The night you decided to have your knife or keys at the ready you weren't fighting for survival, in fact you had them at the ready becasue you had 'a feeling' that you might get attacked.

That's called paranoia. If some innocent bystander had tapped you on the shoulder to ask you the time, or for a light for their cigarette, who can say you wouldn't have panicked due to that paranoia and turned round and stabbed them?

There's no getting away from it, you're very strange and potentially dangerous in that sort of mental state.

Sorry if its been said already (I'd be surprised if it hasn't BTW), but in Osasuna a couple of years ago we heard stories of 'heavy handed policing' and how 'the police over here are better in dealing with fans' etc.

Now they are playing the heavy handed card again.

They are sounding more and more like the hooligans from the nation that they want to belong to.

Maybee the best plan of action for Rangers fans is to do a Liverpool, blame everyone else, look for 'justice', and claim it as their own tragedy.

"How dare Juve not accept our apology!" :bairn

It's really quite simple, if a tad cruel.

If its so simple, why is he shying away from spelling it out? He was obviously quite happy to make the comment, so why can't he explain it?

Why do you have to turn every thread you post on into some sort of attention-seeking mission?

It wasnt me who started throwing abuse around. All I am doing is responding to the abuse of others. What would you have me do?

Because he is a sad little man. He somehow managed to turn a thread about Berwick getting a new director into something about how Arbroath finished 7th in Division 1. He was just attention seeking and this new Grey Ghost thing he has started is pathetic.

Try and rise above it and stop getting involved with the same people time and time again.
