It's nice to see Forfar actively trying to cement their place at the foot of the SFL by signing dross. One less team to worry about.

Unlike Stenny who are just trying to cement there place in the 3rd division.

What are you slavering about? I've been reletively impressed with Forfar's signings so far, and they will almost definately finish above Stenny this coming season.

I don't know if we'll come above you lot but I don't think these are signings that will cement our place at the bottom.

Winter has been a good 2nd division midfielder for years. McLeish seems decent. Keogh was a proven 1st division player although obviously it depends how injuries have affected him.

Lilley is a player I am very excited about. Granted he hasn't scored for ages but he has been playing at a higher level than the 3rd and was always very good against us for Morton. There's no doubts he has the football brain for this level and I'm sure if he gets a wee run he'll be a superb signing.

I disagree with some of what you've said, but what I've quoted is a lie of the highest order.

I think he sounds decent. Obviously time will tell but some people sound more positive about him. I really don't know much apart from what I've heard but I trust Dick Campbell.

Not saying we're going to be great or even make the play-offs but I think we'll do a lot better next year.

Pat Keogh probably the worst signing you'll make this season, unless he is taking up some kind of coaching role. Sat in the stand for most of the season can only remember him playing three times. Saying that he did score what had to be goal of the season for us up Coatbridge.
Struck down with some mystery injury after that though.

Scored the winner from a penalty against some non league side you guys were struggling against in the SC last season too did he not.

Think he damaged knee and ankle ligaments against stirling albion .... so no mystery. As Britton said at the time, he brought keogh back too early but needed players who would stand up and be counted.

If he stays sound he'll be a great signing for the Loons ..... a leader both on and off the field.

Indeed. I'm going to wait until the start of the season though to see who Stenny bring in.

Hope he justifies your excitement but I'd be surprised. Lilley is a player who has always been fairly clumsy but was a good battler. Sadly I think the tank is running on empty and if truth be told he looks washed up to me. Can't see him doing much. If you wanted to sign a Stirling free you would have been better with Colin Cramb.

That's a bit of a conradiction is it not?

You seemed confident Forfar would "definitely" finish above us now you are waiting to see who we bring in? Make your mind up.

I'll take some money off you as well when you make your decision.
This is my territory be on your way...

At this moment in time I am very confident Forfar will finish above Stenny next season, but Stenny might have a few good signings in the pipeline, so like any person that has an ounce of common sense, I'll hold off until the start of the season.

Forfar will go forward under Dick Campbell.

Do you even know who we have signed so far?

You cite Dick Campbell as the main reason they will finish above us, yet we have the man who in the last 2 years has finished level on points with top spot, then won the league outright.

I'm more than happy to take £20 off you

I think you mean you have a man who took Berwick to the bottom of the 2nd Division and then failed to get Stenny into the playoffs.

We were second bottom or something like that when he took over, no one espected him to get us into the playoffs.

This is the 3rd division, hence why I was highlighting his 3rd division record.

Surely this is all a bit premature as there are bound to be several additions to both squads before the season starts.

Glad Tulloch has re-signed, couple more attackers and a solid goalie and I would be reasonably happy with our squad.

Ooh... bold statement.

Forfar are gash, I forgot they were even in our league.

The signing of Kevin McLeish is laughable, I'm fairly certain he's the worst player ever.
