Cree Lodge Cup Final: Crichton 3 Saints 0

Challenge Cup Final: Threave 4 Mids 0

South League: Creetown 5 Abbey Vale 2, Nithsdale 3 Stranraer Athletic 0

Went to see Threave win Challenge Cup today. After a tight first half an hour, Threave took control and won quite comfortably in the end. First goal was always going to be crucial and when Threave got it they started to relax and play a bit more.

They got their second goal right at the start of the second half and that knocked the stuffing out of Mids. They started to push more guys forward and Threave were able to create more chances. Mids worked hard, again, but just didn't have anything up-front. Vinny Parker didn't have a real save to make.

Another great result for Crichton today and fair play to Annan as well who beat Edinburgh City 3-2 in the SFA Regional Cup Final.

Just one more south final to go - Creetown v Stranraer FC on Monday night.
