Your captain got sent off after it for swearing at the ref lol

The referee for that match was Rod Williamson and was quite right to send the player off . Players sometimes say things in heat of the moment and when they think back they often regret it, I can honestly say in over 30 years of being involved in football I have never seen a referee cheat, yes they will make decisions that at times I find hard to belive and some decisions may be wrong but they will be genuine mistakes , just the same as when a player makes a mistake you will often wonder why the hell they did that. On the point of Martin Sproule let me say that if he does decide to leave football we will have lost one of the better referees in the league. B)

Calling a referee a 'cheat' is low. It shows a lack of respect for both the ref and the other teams in the south of scotland, saying that he obviously favours them over Saints.
Paranoia at its best.

Its obvious people and referees can have differences of opinions on tackles and whether they should be booked or sent off but if a player calls a referee a f'n cheat then there is only one option for the ref ?

Yep. I mean, there's no grey area there. It's clear. So who was the player who got sent off for Saints?

I believe the words used by the captain was '' f****ng cheat''

Yes, and? If a player said that to me they would be quickly reprimanded. They would think twice about doing it again.

This is my second and last post on this site! would all the siants followers please stop slagging of other teams and refs ok they make mistakes their human after all. But all this bitchy banter doesnt make my job or the teams job any easier!, Lets put posts on for the good of foootball and keep the banter low key you have a duty as suppporters of the club to behave and try to and give the club a decent name, dont rise to the bait if other punters try to rile you. Then we can maybe move forward and be respected!!.P.S well done to Crichton champs! and all clubs for effort been tough year ;)

i have known martin for years
and like every other refereee
he gives honest decisions. he
might make mistakes we all do.
but he is no cheat that is the worst
thing a player can call a referee it
should be a red card everytime.

In my opinion South Of Scotland League is utter rubbish. What dp you expect class 1 refs to bother there arse to come down ere to be involved in that crap. i think not. the refs are very very good and defo not cheats if i was refin u could call me all the C words under the sun but not a cheat. Give the refs a break there doing their job ok mibi mistakes are made but who cares how many mistakes do players make in a match.... and concentration is a thing bwt refin and how is one sposed to concentrate watching the boring rubbish the south teams play?? This comment is even more specific to saints! Greetin faced gets.

According to Andys stats the highest level he's done is the first division, he isnt even at a high enough level now to ref top junior games.

Think you'll find if you knew anything about the grading system in Scotland he can ref top junior games but chose not to and Andys stats are wrong :P
