i agree, jim thompson has done a great job this season , very well done to him and his team.and although i think euan brydson at threave is by far the best coach in the league, i'd have to give jim the manager of the year.

Surely Jim must get it. Turned the Critchon round in 3/4years and he has deserved winning the league this season. As saints lad said Wullie Beattie been a great signing, wat bout Noggin, Russell Milligan both have done a job when come in as to Kenny Dinnall (sp)

Well done Critchon, good luck on Saturday

Theyve been exceptional as well but Wullie showed his worth on Saturday then bagged a hat trick on monday.

So by your reckoning the Crichton manager Jim Thomson must be manager of the year? Can't be anyone else then.
Buff is not manager anyway. He's a coach and for sure the best there is in the south of scotland. There's no contest. Doesn't mean his team will win every match.
Well done to Crichton though. The league table never lies. They deserved it.

I agree, there were key signings at key times of the year... you do mention the goals scored... but the Crichton defence - esp in last 4 or 5 games of season - only conceded 2 goals am sure (prob mistaken)...and those were in key games... Dalbeattie, Saints, Threave, Creetown. Am not including myself inthat as i have been injured (prob why we kept clean sheets) but Lee True came in to sweeper and done fantastic job, Craig Wilson as a reformed Centre Half has been outstanding and Big Adam when he has his mind on the game there aint many better defenders in the league,
