Oh dear here we go again Saints lose and the ref is to blame i was at the match and Saints thought lets kick our way to the final only thing is ref stood up and was counted your num 5 was lucky he only got yellow for the first tackle the ref must've felt sorry for him cos it was so earlyin the game as for his second well only he will know why he put in a tackle like that and there was only 1 thing the ref could do 2 yellow and its red, you cant complain about your goalie red card it was a stone waller. so instead of blaming someone learn to lose and lose gracefully after all your team actually played ok and if you want to blame someone look at your num5 and goalie.

Well said bft i saw you there last night i thought it was a decent game but Saints lost the plot in the end i also think if martin hadn't sent the 2 saints players off we'd have the stranraer supporters on slagging him off so come on wanderers fair is fair you beat yourself you cant blame anyone else

You prob dont even know the guy were you even at the game cos i was and didn't see too much wrong you could be picky and say a few offsides were wrong but he had no linesmen so cant fault that to say anyone is a cheat is wrong all the refs i've seen this year are not cheats they might get a few things wrong but for what i saw all major decision were correct maybe you should go watch a game that saints are not involved in then comment on the ref, instead of looking through saints tinted glasses. I spoke to him today and he said he was going to quit south football cos of saints but has now decided not to let them drive him out so you could be stuck with him for a while yet

Glad to hear it why should we in the south lose 1 of our better refs to the east just because 1 team has a prob with dicipline i hope he stays even just to make a point

Martin Sproule is no cheat! Would any of you guys be refs the way players speak to them???????????? I know there are a few poor refs in the league and even poorer assistants but at least they are honestly poor!.......Why are we trying to chase the better refs away?? Hope the refs dont read on this forum too much or the league would either go defunct or we would be left with the likes of Rover to ref finals etc....(only mentioned him as an example cause i dont know the names of the assistants!)

Well said Hoss I think we're in danger of losing our local refs cos of the abuse dished out to them I was at Saints game a couple of weeks ago and it was a ref from Glasgow and he was no better than any of our locals but would be more expensive and didn't turn up till 15 mins before kick off so come on guys in the south give the local refs a break

I've said it once and I'll say it again. The one time I seen him ref a QoS game(obviously living in Dumfries he cant ref a QoS game), he was as good as any other refs in Scotland except maybe Kenny Clark who is a cut above and a class act.

Don't blame refs for your players flaws, before someone says it, I was not at the game. By the sounds of it the sendings offs are waranted. Why blame a ref for 1 wrong offside etc. When players at this level make rash tackles/miss kick on a regular basis. Everyone makes mistakes.

It looks like sour grapes from you and all your saints pals the sending offs last night were warrented and Bongo was just being Bongo he tackled like a thug last night and you must think we're all as fickle as you if you think we believe a ref from glasgow is cheaper. the only cheats on the park last night were in yellow strips you just didn't like it cos there was a strong ref that stepped on the cheats in yellow last night lets hope he refs all your games coming up
