Spelling doesn't appear to be wrong in that post - correct me if i'm wrong ;)

Are you saying your name isn't Steven, and you weren't at Gayfield last season at all at the same time East Fife were playing at other grounds?

Correct. My name is not Steven and the only time I watched Arbroath, other than against EF last season was on this day:

Tuesday 2nd January 2007
Albion 2 - 1 Queens Park
Arbroath 1 - 0 Montrose
Berwick p - p Dumbarton
East Stirling p - p Stenhousemuir

I can't believe I'm even responding to this pish. How old are you Simon?

Did you know there is another East Fife fan living in Arbroath, with a son in the same school and year as you? Superb coincidence eh! ;)

Anyway - back on topic. I think we have a better chance this season in the play offs than we've had in the other 2 amazingly. This isn't to say our team is better this year, but last season after the Berwick defeat on the 2nd last day it was near enough impossible for the players to pick themselves up and we were up against a Queens Park side who were playing the best football I've ever seen in division 3. Against Alloa, we had a worse squad than we currently do marginally IMO, and Alloa had just started on a run of form.

Both teams this time around aren't exactly on form, and we have really struggled our way into the play offs this year, however if we play the way we can do and get right up for this match like we did against East Fife I think we can get through. From what i've heard the team are really up for it, and hopefully the support will be right behind them and we can get one stage further than we have in the previous years. I dont think I can handle failing in the play offs AGAIN. :(

Oh - I forgot to ask you Steven, did you enjoy the Vatican City when you visited? :)

I'm actually quite nervous now! :o

Low scoring game, with a 1-1 draw at Gayfield or a 1-0 win for the Lichties I think. To be honest, i'd take a draw tonight :o :)

As I asked before, did you know there is another East Fife fan your age living in Arbroath, who has a son in the same year at the same school as you? Quite a coincidence, dont you think? :)

Lies make baby Jesus cry :(

Out of interest Lichties - what sort of team would you all go for tonight?

Personally, I'd go with the 5-3-2 with wingbacks formation we've been using this year.

1 - Darren Hill
2 - Steven Rennie
3 - Roddy Black
4 - Alan Rattray
5 - Jamie Bishop
6 - Robbie Raeside
7 - Alan Campbell
8 - Alan Brazil
9 - Bryan Scott
10 - Barry Sellars
11 - Paul Lunan

Feel sorry for Paul Watson, but with Sellars back I think John will be putting him straight back into the team. Alan Campbell is really adapting to his defensive midfield role, and if Lunan and Sellars perform like they can then we have a very solid looking midfield.

'Mon Lichties :)

I'm pretty certain that's what we'll see tonight. Sellars and Lunan together in midfield fills me with confidence. Since Lunan signed they have played very few games together due to suspensions and injuries.

I should probably add it's absolutly lashing it down here just now and has been for most of the morning.
