Anyone else think that on Saturday we should get our TALLEST team possible on the park , that could win the game itself just with the fact that there team is no bigger than a sunday league under 14 side.

Brilliant. The guy in the red robes at Weshy's team talk is the Arbroath right back, still looking for Scott Gates.

I too thought Scullion played well as did several others (Tomana never stopped and Shanks is getting better every game)
It was a penalty though - I was right in line with it. The only person Dougie conned was the Arbroath defender who put in a stupid challenge right in front of the Ref.
We could have had more penalties too! there were two or three hand balls within seconds of each other earlier on.

If it was a penalty then it would be put in the "very soft" category. From where I was it looked like Dougie seen the defenders leg so knocked the ball past him and stuck his leg out so it would catch the defenders.

The first half of the match was murder with Cowden having nothing up front and Arbroath hitting it long. But once Arbroath scored (probably deserved) Cowden really started to get going and it helped with Scullion in the midfield and Gates (I think) on the left. In the end a draw was probably the right result.

Should be a better game tomorrow. And hopefully Cowden win.

p.s. What is the weather meant to be like tomorrow in Cowdenbeath?

"I remember all of them, and every single one was a deliberate stab through the heart of Hibernian Football Club. Nothing against the fans but you lot have to understand that when Hibs didn't sign me, I wanted revenge. Some folk laugh at that and say: ‘What, all 27?' I suppose maybe 25 were punishment; the other two I banged in just for the hell of it."

Obviously weren't there when we won the league a couple of seasons ago, everything was beautiful that day. Even the ground looked better with a decent crowd in it :o

Quite a blow that Scott's unfit - that's most of our attacking threat gone. We'll have to score from set pieces now
Supporting Arbroath = the best of all possible worlds. Gayfield Park = stairway to heaven. The team and fans = the worst in the league, apart from all the others. Everything is rosy in our garden

Feel confident about Saturday. Arbroath are a big strong team who can only play one way - big hoof up the park and the forwards feed off the scraps. It can be very effective and in wild conditions like Wednesday they were always going to get chances to score. They didn't pass the ball about much, no more than two, maybe three, passes strung together. Their defenders are all very slow and this will be exposed on Saturday.
I predict a comfortable win for Cowden.

HAHA GIRUY should have known that one was away to bite you in tha arse, DODODO ROBBIE RAESIDE

You are correct - best team won, no argument (even if the were the poorest team to visit CP this season) just shows how crap we have become.
Anyway good luck for next season - you should go up even if you lose against Stranraer.
We'll be back! (may take some tie though!)

I never make predictions on such big games and be so confident , always say that it will be a close game to avoid embarassment afterwards ;)
