Creetown P-P Abbey Vale
Crichton 1 Fleet Star 0
Newton Stewart 2 Mid Annandale 0
St Cuthbert Wanderers 2 Nithsdale Wanderers 5
Stranraer P_P Annan Athletic
Wigtown 3 Dumfries 1
Only game I can give you a report on was ours obviously! In all honesty our injury depleted team didn't play great. 2-0 was if anything a touch more than we deserved. Mids had a fair bit of posssesion - mind our keeper Harry Fidler didn't have that many saves to make I guess. We actully played a lot better when we dropped 2 bad points last week down at Lockerbie.

next saturday will be interesting!!!
Very interesting! We play you guys in last game of your season at Blairmount. Being honest I wouldn't grudge you the title (be nice to see a different name on the trophy) but we would still do everything we could do get something from the game if it all came down to that.
Wouldn't grudge Threave the title either because I think they play some cracking football and tend to be pretty respectful to the opposition!
MAY THE BEST TEAM WIN!

With the added incentive of a place in the Second Round of the Scottish Cup up for grabs, the title race in the South is catching quite a bit of interest (especially for Crichton who normally don't get in at all). Have to say, I know absolutely nothing about Crichton as a club and little enough about Threave - but would I be right in saying that Crichton's facilities, budget and pedigree are a long way below some of the other SOSFL clubs? So they're punching well above their weight right now?

Crichton were always better today and the Fleet keeper had a few superb saves, defenders throwing themselves in front of shots to block, woodwork getting in the way too.........young looking fleet team worked ever so hard without creating anything clear cut........next saturday will be interesting!!!

Crichton should not be even competing with Threave(best team in the league by a mile!),Stranraer F.C.,Saints,Creetown,Nithsdale but the league table doesnt lie....Threave still hot favs to win the title as they have been there done it but not sure why the Saints fans have such a hump about Crichton????? Did they not put 5 past them in a cup game? Saints have some smashing players and have won a cup already so dont know where this bitterness comes from........they are a long way off the pace for the league title so is that the prob??

Eh? I dont have a problem with Crichton its good to see a close title race usually its done and dusted by now. Crichton have a large squad which is helping them in the league.

Crichton deserve to be where they are. They've made some cracking signings at important times of the season and the manager has to be given credit. I personally think they have a better squad than Threave, and if both are on form next week, Crichton might just nick it???

Pop having watched both teams in the last fortnight i think Threave are slightly stronger in key areas...............Warren,Struthers,Beattie, Patterson,Wilby
,Fingland,Cook,Donnely are a serious core to the team
