Who'd have thought this match wouldn't have a thread before the Saturday morning! I'm hoping that it won't that bad a game though as both sides do like to attack and our game with Stirling during the week was an enjoyable enough spectacle, with plenty of chances.

We've unfortunately had to bring Rutkiewicz and McManus back into the squad to cover other absences but both are just a booking away from a suspension. Whether McInnes feels he can ask McManus to play, I'm not sure, but I hope he does as we don't want to be without Rutkiewicz for the start of the new season. Goran Stanic might have recovered from the knock that kept him out on Tuesday but youngsters Stephen Kerr, Adam Monaghan and Jonny Fairburn are all in the squad again. Absentees will be Hardie, Morris, James, McCluskey, Lawrie, McCaffrey, Jackson and Cameron. Vital that Irvine and Rutkiewicz don't get booked if they play but McInnes has said he wants to win the game so at least Irvine will feature I suspect. Other certain starters will be McBreen, Moon. Weatherston and Liam Craig.

I see Mark Proctor has said he won't play any of the guys that won't be at Almondvale next season but I assume that excludes Stewart, since he's your only goalkeeper! Some of the young guys I saw in the recent reserve match looked decent but more crucially in that match, looked comfortable with their team mates. Be interesting to see how they get on alongside the senior guys. Mackay is supposedly injured and if Dorrans isn't playing that that is Livi's two key players, IMO, missing out.

Remember it's just £5 admission for everyone.
Fascists against Beatson.

I don't mean to be a crashing p***k, but I'm finding it difficult to arouse any interest in this game whatsoever. Frankly, I can't be arsed going. I will of course, 'cause I'm a horrific masochist and I need the despair in order to function.

It'll be an interesting exercise in seeing what kind of depth we've got in this squad, not that it means anything at this point. My focus has really already shifted to whimsical summer thoughts such as signings, both "re" and new; what our new strips will look like; and topless girls liberally applying suncream to their ripe, firm breasts.

As you can see, McDiarmid park today will be something of an anti-climax.

I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore.

I couldn't be bothered going, but now that I know that at least some first team members will play and it won't be an easy victory for Livingston, I'm a bit more enthusiastic about the match.

I hope people take advantage of the £5 admission fee and come along. It would be depressing to sit in a sub 2000 crowd after the highs of Hampden last week.

If that's what you'd call it.

Hopefully Livingston will play some of the younger players and show they can play againest one of the best teams in the division and we dont need to many new signings for next season. But I still expect St Johnstone to beat us.

Well here we are.The last game of a long, and league wise, fruitless season.
I hope we can go out with a bang today, but after wednesday nights game I,m not filled with great belief.Team today looking like it,s going to be a bit makeshift,as is the Livi team. They are not playing anyone who is not going to be there next season, so no McKay or Dorrans and plenty young lads. There seems very little interest in this game but I hope the £5 entry will entice a few to attend..Pride only today and a chance to say cheerio to McManus who I think will play.Lets give the guy a decent send off....

Come on you Saints....................
