Are Tarff Rovers gone forever? Did they lose SFA membership or has it been put on "hold" and can they reform at a later date.I know their is an amateur team there at the moment but it,s a pity such an old local club may be gone. I had a lot of good competitive (to say the least) derbies against them and played a few times for them also and found them to be a friendly well run team. It,s strange a team can be dominating the South and soon after no longer exist.

As far as I remember, a meeting was held to reform them a year or two after they folded, but no one turned up. They had a season as non-playing SFA members and had to raise a team for the Scottish Cup to maintain it, though got hammered by Vale of Leithen or Gala, can't recall who. A reformed team will not get back into the SFA because of the ground.
