This is a far superior line up to T in the Park:

Only one i'd take from there for T would be Tenacious D.

Is that not pretty much a hybrid of T in the Park 2006 and T in the Park 2007...

And MGMT Vampire Weekend and Foals!
TITP's line up makes me sad, Leeds doesn't look better.
Hopefully Connect will be good when it's announched.

Can't say I'm particularly enthused with any of the festival line-ups so far this year. If you're happy with the line up, Leeds is well worth a visit though.
I've only been to Leeds once (2006), but found it a far more enjoyable weekend than TITP. It does attract a younger crowd than most festivals, but I didn't experience any hassle, despite the reputation Leeds has for drunken teenage high jinks.
The campsite atmosphere was brilliant all weekend, with far more mingling than you'll find at T. During the day, the crowds were more "up for it" than ay other festival I've been at, with impressive amounts of drinking to boot.

Been to Leeds a few times and always enjoyed it, even the years when I didn't think the lineup was so great
I did experience the 'riots' the first year I went (2002?) with the exploding toilets and everything but its calmed down a bit since then I think

To be fair that's the best festival line-up I've seen in ages. Rage Against The Machine and Biffy on the same day!
There;s a fair few slappers in Leeds who love the Scottish accent. Unfortunately the festival is full of London student types who you don't really want to associate with.
