GOOD ON YOU SAINTSLAD.GREAT TO SEE WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT FOR A YOUNG WIGTOWN SIDE AND SEEING THE POTENTIAL OF SOME GOOD YOUNG PLAYERS WHO AS YOU SAY WILL IMPROVE WITH MORE GAMES UNDER THEIR BELTS.

Their big number 5 was very impressive, player for future.

Was at the Crichton game, Hoss, they left out a number of regulars - think they're probably more concerned with the Saints game on wednsday.

Crichton team was Muirhead, Wilson, Dinnel, Laurie, A Milligan, Miller, Morrison, Learmont, R Milligan, Montgomery and M Milligan subs used Beattie Peacock and Nicol

Darren Johnstone scored first for Annan after a Laurie mistake, Dinnel equalised with a cracker from 30yds out. 1-1 HT. Coudln't see who scored Annans second (header off a free-kick) but Learmont got Crichton's equaliser with a daisycutter. Then onto the penalties which were taken in almost total darkness.
Crichton had a lot of corners but in the main were restricted to long shots. Annan good in defence and should have won it in goalmouth scramble near the end.

Aye I would agree with this assessment of the game, I'm not too familiar with the Annan 1st team but not many of them on display on Monday looked like East players.

I think Jazza and Ginger should be the centre-half partnership for Saints.

Crichton vs Saints tonite... a big game, especially for the crichton who are still in the hunt. An i suppose for saints who could get back into it by winning tonite!

Anyone know what other games are on tonite?
