An appeal:

My sister-in-law is running the London Marathon in aid of Alzheimers Scotland. I've told her I could get her £1000 in online sponsorship from football fans in Scotland, in memory of Ally McCleod, which probably makes me a liar.

However, please help me mitigate this lie by sponsoring her through the following link

I will be posting this appeal on a number of message boards in order to reach as many people as possible. Any donations would be gratefully received although I'm hoping 100 people donating £10 will see the job done.

Well this has been a complete disaster with absolutely no donations - do that many people really have me on ignore?

Remember Ally McCleod contracted this awful disease before he died and it's a really worthy cause.
