It would appear that we are going to stumble to the end of the season rather spectacularly. QP deserved to win on Saturday as we seemd to have gone back to our early season form.

One interesting selection on Saturday where was Kevin Byers? Anyone.

It would be nice to make the playoffs, but that looks a tough ask now. Don't think we're good enough for the first division at the moment anyway, although I certainly wouldn't say no to going up.

He was injured I believe. Don't know how serious it is though. He was missed badly.

Saturday's performance was awful from Brechin. Queen's stuck to their guns and picked up a deserved win but we just resorted to the long ball tactics we employed before our spell of form. Darren Smith showed some good touches in the first half but totally fell out of the game in the seccond. Looks bleak.

Our best form of the season was when we had Adam Nelson and Fusco in the middle and King and C. Smith up front We were scoring goals from all over the park and from the front two. Thats not happening at the moment. Need to change things fast or we really will have no chance although I still believe its possible

I blame the new groundsman...He had the pitch in perfect condition! We had nobody who could control the ball when it bounced!

I've been quite disappointed in Nelson. He hasn't really done much.

He has got great ability on the ball. With someone like Fusco in the middle of the park to do the ugly work he gets more time to play. Janyck never looks fit, so not much options in the middle.

I dont understand why Callum Smith has been dropped. He did nothing wrong and formed a great partnership with King.

I agree with everyone so far. I think we should revert back to Charlie King and Calum Smith upfront. Iain Diack is a good striker but he's still carrying an injury as far as I am aware so I think keeping him on the bench would be a better option at this moment in time.

Fusco is a must in midfield. We are spoilt for choice in technically gifted players who can create things (Smith, King, Byers, Nelson) but we don't really have a proper 'grafter' other than Fusco. He always puts in 100% from what I've seen.

The current slump in form is dissapointing as it looked like we were heading for the play-off's but when you consider the position we were in a few months ago, maybe we should be happy with where we are. Hoping to finish at least 5th though.
Oooooh Garry Brady....

Good to see fusco getting plaudits. He is a player that cowden fans did appreciate as he worked hard for the team. Good guy as well.
