Sorry if this has been brought up....

Just having a look at their next fixtures

Cowdenbeath (h)
Peterhead (a)
Airdrie (h)
Ross County (a)

Are they going to struggle to make the play offs now with their poor run? The way results are going for them at the minute you wouldn't expect them to take much off Peterhead, Airdrie or Ross County.

Hopefully they'll get a kicking off Cowden on Saturday too!

Those wins will be against the run of play.

Wait, no, the ref cheated.

No, hang on, it's okay because it's chances that count anyway, not goals.

Yes it looks tough on paper but the way I see it is that raith have had their bad spell and may well kick on now and pick up 8 points out of the 4 games.

Brechin on the other hand will now fade away and will not qualify for the play-offs.

Starting tomorrow night with a 3-0 County win.

Someone better inform Brechin the game is actually tomorrow!
You will retire me, but Iniesta will retire us both.

I'd snatch your arm off for 9 points right now.

Who knows though, we showed early on in the season we can be a good team, which is the most annoying thing of all. We were playing some good stuff, and getting some good results.

Now, realistically, we could miss out on a play-off spot. At this precise moment in time I'd say it's more than likely e'll miss out.

We must beat Cowden on Saturday, and we can't really afford to lose at Peterhead the week after.

There's really no need to panic.

Yes we've had a bad spell, through combination of not playing our best and not getting any breaks. It happens, as McGlynn says ther's a fine line between winning and losing, and there's a tendency to overreact - in either direction - depending on which side of that line you end up on over a few weeks.

We'll be alright, we'll be in the play-offs, and to write off our chances in them because of current form would be as daft as it was to assume we were favourites for them because we were the form team this time last year.

They're in freefall! :D :P  B) Its not a question of play offs for the lino boys. Revoltin' Rovers and Cowdung could well be a relegation battle. A bit like the Old Firm..who gives a shit, but if I had to choose it would be for a Cowdung victory because the Kirkcaldy Cuties are such arrogant b*****ds. Be pleased that Berwick are as shite as they are!

The alternative is to get to Stair Park on Saturday with the hordes of Fifes finest there to support the new up and comin' kids on the block.

I have a seat in my car should you wish to take up the offer Lino Boys!

my signature says it all about my opinion of our chances. We could certainly do with the money from the play offs but I sincerely doubt we'd win them.

then again, to read the post above then may I suggest that the title be edited to read "poor old second division board, look who are joining us next season"

What does a scanner see? he asked himself. I mean, really see? Into the head? Down into the heart? Does a passive infrared scanner like they used to use or a cube-type holo-scanner like they use these days, the latest thing, see into me—into us—clearly or darkly? I hope it does, he thought, see clearly, because I can’t any longer these days see into myself. I see only murk. Murk outside; murk inside. I hope, for everyone’s sake, the scanners do better. Because, he thought, if the scanner sees only darkly, the way I myself do, then we are cursed, cursed again and like we have been continually, and we’ll wind up dead this way, knowing very little and getting that little fragment wrong too.

What a joke. At the beginning of the season we were playing ugly but got the results (mainly because of our strength at set pieces). Now we are playing ugly and not getting the results. The only games we really played good football was in the cup matches. At the beginning of the season we were joint top with Queen's Park and 8 points clear of Ross County having played the same amount of games. We have completely messed this whole season up which could result in us missing out on the play-offs. STEVEN FOR MANAGER!

So you're telling me you don't think we were playing well when we were thumping Clyde, outplaying St Johnstone, more than holding our own against Motherwell etc?

Granted, we've never really played to our full potential in the league, but we were getting the results and we were scoring goals. Something we can't do at the moment.

Another Raith thread  We will bounce back, and I would love to hear what beastfife will have to say on the subject if we manage to fluke a promotion.

Quote

Dunfermline boss Jim McIntyre must be at a loss to explain the succession of goalkeeping howlers he's witnessed from the frazzled Pars this season. I'm picturing a scene akin to Basil Fawlty whacking his car repeatedly with a branch after deciding "enough is enough!"

Not that i would want to stand up for a moron like Kilgour, but if you read what he said, he did say you had played well in the cup games. ;)

As for Raith. This is indeed quite funny to see. I said a few weeks back that Raith and Airdrie really should be 2nd and 3rd, unless one wants to do a Partick. It seems Raith are trying to do so - don't they realise how stupid that could be with 3 teams so close to 4th place - they could end up out of the playoffs altogether

Why do all these pathetic Beast Fife fans keep on trying to annoy my fine Kirkcaldy neighbours?. Please wait until next season before spouting your utter p**h on the second div forum. You appear to have developed delusions of adequacy as well as the ability to make fire at long last. Concentrate on winning this years easy 3rd division title before becoming next seasons Berwick Rangers :ass .

Poor old Raith had a decent night last night,

Brechin lost, Peterhead & alloa drew and Cowdens best player is out for saturday.

This not playing malarky is much more fun.

See Cowden have signed Denis Mclauchlan. That'll be at least two goals we need to score on Saturday to win then as it's inevitable that he'll score against us.
