Depressingly true.

At least with Scotland games you have the enjoyment of the occasion to fall back on when it goes tits up (or at least I do as a member of the SSC, non-members have pints to cry into as their only consolation!). When Queens blow it infront of a sold out Palmerston you are not only left with the "what if" scenario, but also the anger that half the crowd won't be back until the next big team or big game comes a calling. If only they understood that their support and attendance would lead to these type of games becoming a regular fixture.

Nobody in the world wants Queens to win more than me tomorrow. I have seen Queens build themselves up so many times in the past only to blow it on their big day. I would love to live through the feeling knowing that Queens are in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup

Alas, I don't mean to be pessimistic, but I know what it is like to dream (I've been a Queens fan too long to think of owt else!) I honestly expect to be absolutely pig fcuking sick at this time tomorrow evening
