True, in the interests of balance I should point out that men are clingy too. :)

I have a far worse horror story than the one I posted above, but I don't dare post it because the guy reads p and b.

It seems in this modern age of stress people are struggling to trust their partners. :(

Well thats up to them! Me being totally honest used to get jealous but now I think I wouldnt be bothered at the end of the day if you love someone and respect someone you wouldnt cheat! Most my guy pals cheat on there wummin but they tell me when theyve found the one theyll know not to cheat. If that makes sense!

I'm maybe not the best to be giving advice at this as, from the age of 14 (my first real "shagging" bird), I've basically only been single for 9 months. But those 9 months were some good times. :D

The only problem I found was that you can only shag a certain amount of birds before it gets round that you're only after one thing (even if you're only really seeing the girls one at a time for say a month at a time and it's not your fault if they want boab) and then all the decent ones avoid you or insist on taking it slow... leading you to drop your standards. Drastically. By chance, I met my current gf at a party and sort of new right away that I'd want her as a girlfriend so was ok with taking things slow and all that shite before getting serious. That was 3 years ago. We've had the whole "what's your number" conversation and she's not too happy with that but can't change the past, eh?

So... basically enjoy the single life and get some tarts pumped but not too much that decent birds are put off. Once you meet a bird you like, then worry about the whole long-term thing.

I actually disagree with this 'it's your age' shite.I met my husband when I was about to turn 17 and we've been together ever since. If you meet the right person, it doesn't matter what age you are.

Very true.

I was a bit of a 'Jack the Lad' sort, and I never stayed with a womam for any longer than a month or so before I decided to move on.

However, I then met my wife at 21 and knew that after that month I wanted to be with her forever :D

She'll be having a bairn next week as well

Where the hell did I pluck that one from? What I intended to say was eight months. I really have no idea how I ended up typing 51 weeks

It's been a long day.....

When I met mrs mac wuff, my longest relationship would've been about 2 or 3 weeks as well and was only 19 at the time.

We've been together for over 14 years now and celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary in March.

I don't think there's a right or wrong answer to this sort of question as each person is different. If the OP is bored after a couple of weeks it's only because he hasn't met the right person or isn't ready for that kind of commitment yet (and there's nowt wrong with that either).

I wish I was 19 and had that as my biggest worry :bairn

This is a weener thread and has no place on a Scottish football forum.

It should be deleted forthwith or be transferred to the "pink girly dolls house and pony club rubbish sub-forum"

Indeed. Get as much as you can until you are at least 28 -30. Then you will be ready to settle down. :)

Does that mean go out and hump as many burds possible? Sounds like a good idea to me! ;)

Listen, I don't know how the hell you escaped, but get out from behind the skirting board and back in your cage.

Oh, and if you bite me again, I'm not giving you anymore chocolate drops.

As Ayrshire's most eligible bachelor it is the women of the area that bemoan any "dry spell" I am going through, I just fail - totally - to see the point of any sort of serious or long-term relationship.

Heh - that still quite amuses me that your animal has the same name as me - I have just eaten a packet of Chocolate Buttons too.

Yeah, I have got out within 2 weeks of any sort of relationship I have been in. I think I am too selfish to have one.

I have never had any feelings of that nature towards another man so no, it is highly unlikely that I am gay.

And no she has never asked that either.

Thanks for your interest though :)

I got this question from my dad at the age of 17, as I'd not had a serious burd. 17 FFS!!

Until last year, I'd managed to avoid a relationship (where's the spew smiley?) lasting longer than 3 months. I'm properly astounded that the current one's now lasted longer than a year, so I'll now bow out of this thread and leave it to those who know what they're talking about.

Good. It would be disappointing if you were. I've nothing against gays but think you'd make a funny dad. Mind you, gays can adpot now so...

For the record, I don't actually like the boaby. I was merely painfully shy around burds until I discovered alcohol.
