Gold Members Competition Thread Platipus members need not apply Rate Topic: -----

To redress the imbalance I am offering a competition with prizes for all gold members.

Unlike the simplistic google search competitions offered in the platipus lounge the gold member competitions will have a more esoteric feel to them.

Week 1

Mrs B and I often challenge each other with this little ditty.

If your not aware of the Minnie Ripperton song please watch the youtube link below.

http://uk.youtube.co...h?v=_uU6aYNXnUk

The challenge is to upload yourself singing the la la la la la, la la la la la, and then catch the high pitched bit in tune and tonally correct.

The first poster to successfully replicate the Ripperton can choose between the outstanding prizes of a foosty lump of soapbar sitting at the bottom of my tin or the remainder of a bottle of toffee liqueur sitting at the back of my kitchen cupboard.

Best of luck gold members.

Is that physically possible? We'd need someone like Matthew Bellamy to try it.

Can't listen to that song without thinking of the Chris Morris Jam sketch.

Class! GLC are a great laugh, I got pissed with them a few years back at the Glasgow Union.

Other good songs are 'Robot', 'Paranoia' and 'Sister'.
