Due to the early Easter this year, today is Pancake Day/Shrove Tuesday/whatever. Thought some folk might not be aware of this - already had some this morning for my snack

I just made pancake parcels. Spread with chocolate spread, banana and strawberries layered on that then a dollop of ice cream on the top and all wrapped up into a parcel.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Didnt know about it until my youngest bounded in from school and demanded that we have them for dessert tonight. Never made them before so was crapping it that he would be disappointed with Chef Daddy but good old Delia came through with a top recipe and they were mightily chomped by all and sundry.

On reflection it would have been easier to go down the Spar and buy some and would have resulted in considerably less clean up time, but hey thats half the fun innit
