Na. f**k knows what they were like as people but I really liked their first/only album.

Perhaps I'm letting my experiences of them taint my opinion on their music but I thought they were awful.

Interpol @ the king tut's tent at t in the park '06. There was hardly any interaction between the band and the crowd, but the music was ace. "Evil" and "slow hands" were 2 stand outs.

Alter Bridge @ the Carling probably just beats Alice Cooper @ SEC.

Muse at Leeds Festival in 2006 is probably the best I've seen.

The Wembley gig last yer was a longer set with better tunes, but the sound at Leeds was by far the loudest I've ever heard. Copius amounts of alcohol and a torrential downpour which lead to a massive clould of sweat forming above the rather massive moshpit helped too. :D

Other gigs of note:

Radiohead (TITP '96, Glasgow Green 2000, Newcastle 2003, V festival and Meadowbank 2006)
Doves (Glasgow Academy '05)
Supergrass (Barras '98)
Arab Strap (ABC '06)
Malky Middleton (Barfly '05, ABC '07)
Mogwai (Albert Hall '06)

Too many to mention in fact.

I've enjoyed just about every gig I've ever been to, and for different reasons, so it's hard to pick a favourite. The Garcias were always good to go to as I'd be going along with mates, normally, I knew the band to speak to as well, and they always did a great show, so for smaller gigs, they'd probably be my favourite band to go and see.

The gig I actually enjoyed most was Oasis at Milton Keynes in 2005. I couldn't see the band, I got a little bit squashed between sweaty men who were several inches taller than me, but I did end up back with my friends and taking an exceptional amount of recreational substances, and a decent variety of them too. I can't remember what Oasis were like really, but I had a fucking brilliant day.
