Right, thing is, see if your mate had been seeing this girl for like 2 years, and you were mates with both of them. And you had always flirted with this girl and had got on well with them even before they got together, and then about 6 months ago they split up, and about a week ago you and this girl went for a drink, had a really good time and something may of happened between you which you've been shitein yourself about since,
is this acceptable?
ive always said that I would never do that to a mate but it happened,
should I confess to my mate now and get it over and done with or keep it quiet but then if he does find out further down the line be even more pissed?
fucking bevvy

Unacceptable mate. A friend's ex bird is always out of bounds I'm afraid.

Tell your mate. The sooner the better.
If it's troubling you to the extent that you've started a topic about it on a website, and you say yourself that you're 'shitein' (is that even a word?) it, then doing nothing about it will not make it better.
You never know, your mate might not give a fĂșck, and can get your jollies (albeit sloppy seconds) whenever you like.

Depends how desperate you are, and what morals you have.

Tell your mate before it goes any further. I'm sure your mate would rather hear it from you now than find out through someone else further along the line.
Ok, he may find it hard to accept initally, but if he's a true mate, he'll understand. You can't change your feelings.

A friend of mine is now engaged to an ex of mine. Ridiculous, but I still get annoyed about it when I see them together (not often, thankfully). I'd never say anything, though. He's a w**ker anyway.

My pals certainly aren't a group who sleep around - but i think there's only 2 of us that 's haven't been near someone in our group of friends ex's. Maybe it's just Perth is so small and there ain't many good guys...from the girls point of view though, I wouldn't have an issue of going near an ex's mate a wee bit down the line.
You'll know if it's the right thing to do if a) She's going to tell someone or B) How your mate is likely to take it - you'll know how he is likely to react.

Tell your mate and allow him to shag any of your exs in part exchange

They split up 6 months ago?
Honestly, why the fuss? Unless the two of them have remained 'good friends' but even then, I don't see why it should matter.
Tell your mate, by all means. But then, you probably would anyway, regardless of who the girl is. If he's an arse about it, then he's not over her, that's all. But if he is any kind of mate, you'll know all this beforehand anyway.
I get the impression you're only worried because you think he'll freak.
Now, the crucial question.
Is she braw?

Does your mate bring his glasses back to the bar when done with them? If not, do the dirty - he obviously deserves it.

FFS when I was a lad, I'd have been in there before he'd got the padlock off his bike.

See when you were out with this lassie last week......did you take your own glasses back to the bar? Or did you let the barmonkey come and collect them?
